The government wants to cut spending on people with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n

In other words: Less help for many people.<\/p>\n\n

<\/p>\n\n

For example:<\/p>\n\n

Maybe there won’t be any school assistants anymore.<\/p>\n\n

Maybe we won’t be able to decide for ourselves where to live anymore.<\/p>\n\n

<\/p>\n\n

We don’t think that’s a good idea.<\/p>\n\n

That’s why we’re holding a vigil.<\/p>\n\n

A vigil is a protest.<\/p>\n\n

Let’s get together and show that we’re against it.<\/p>\n\n

Where: In front of the NRW Ministry of Social Affairs<\/p>\n\n

This is important:<\/p>\n\n

Minister Karl-Josef Laumann is coming to see us in person.<\/p>\n\n

He wants to talk to us.<\/p>\n\n

Support for people with disabilities is important for everyone.<\/p>\n\n

Anyone can find themselves in need of help at some point.<\/p>\n\n

Due to an accident. Due to an illness. In old age. <\/p>\n\n

That’s why this help isn’t just for others.<\/p>\n\n

It is for society as a whole.<\/p>\n\n
